(Reuters) – An outfitted man who discharged shots through the entryway of an extravagance Hawaii lodging and blockaded himself inside was discovered dead from a self-incurred gunfire twisted following an almost 10-hour deadlock with police, a nearby TV station revealed Sunday.

The Kahala Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii, was set on lockdown around 6 p.m. Saturday evening and visitors advised to shield set up after a man discharged a firearm, bolted himself inside a lodging and afterward discharged a few additional shots through the entryway, TV station KHON2 News announced, refering to Honolulu police.

A representative for the police division couldn’t promptly be reached.
