BAKU (Reuters) – Azerbaijan on Friday said an Armenian expert rifleman had killed one of its trooper at the line between the two nations and that its military was taking reaction measures.

Azerbaijan’s safeguard service said in an articulation the occurrence occurred at the piece of the boundary framed by its Kalbajar region, some portion of an area recovered by Azerbaijan last November.

Azerbaijan and Armenia battled a six-week war last year in which Azeri troops drove ethnic Armenian powers out of wraps of an area they had since a long time ago controlled in and around the Nagorno-Karabakh territory.

The battling in Nagorno-Karabakh, which is universally perceived as a component of Azerbaijan, finished in a truce facilitated by Russia, yet conflicts on the line have continued at unpredictable stretches this year, periodically causing fatalities.
