Announcing the start of exams for matriculation and intermediate classes on July 10, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has said for the first time, it will hold digital attendance of candidates.
According to FBISE Chairman Qaiser Alam, neither an exam paper will go missing nor there will be an attendance issue. He said parents wouldn’t be updated by SMS if children didn’t sit exams.
“Exam papers will have e-marking, too. The results will be out within a month,” he said. He said the exams of class 12 would begin on July 10 and continue until July 31, while those of class 10 would begin on July 12 and end on July 30. The FBISE chairman said examination for class 9 and 11 would be held in August.
