According to a report by Apple Insider, Apple has filed a patent application in the United States, which hints at buttonless Future iPhones.
These buttons will be in invisible backlit holes that will appear when you touch the screen and disappear when not in use.
But it’s hard to say when the button-free iPhone will be introduced.
This year’s iPhone 13 may be the same or users will have to wait until 2022.
By the way, this may happen this year and is also in line with the changes made by Apple in future iPhones.
For example, the iPhone 13 is said to be returning a fingerprint scanner that will be installed inside the screen, which is essential for a buttonless device.
Apple is also likely to reduce the size of the notch, which adds to the importance of the buttonless design.
The headphone jack was removed from the iPhone 7 series by Apple in 2016, while rumors are rumored that the same will happen with the Lightning port soon.
If the Lightning port is removed in the iPhone 13 and wireless charging is the only option, then this will be Apple’s first portless phone, then the possibility of having a button equipped increases.
Whether or not this happens will be known in September when the new iPhones will be introduced.
