The Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas tweeted that the schools year for the matric 2021-2022 and intermediate 2021-2022 has been extended to next year June 2022.
According to the Murad Raas tweet todayit has been informed to the students that the final examinations will be commenced in June 2022. Before the commencement of the exams the schedule will be provided to the students so that they can appear in the exams accordingly.
The extension in the school year is strictly due to the closure of schools due to the upsurge of COVID 19.
The board authorities had conducted the exams of elective subjects according to the directives issued by the federal education minister. The decision had been taken to facilitate the students as their course work remain incomplete.
