Mardan : A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) trainer aircraft crashed near Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday during a routine training mission.
According to the press release, the aircraft was on a routine training mission when it developed a technical fault and crashed in open fields of Ganderi Risalpur area of Nowshera, about 21 kilometers from Mardan.
“A board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident,” it added.
Earlier on August 6, another PAF aircraft crashed near Attock during a routine training mission.
“Both pilots ejected successfully. No loss of life or property has been reported on the ground,” said a statement from the air force.
