Realme has expanded its wearable product lineup with the launch of Realme Band 2. The company has launched the Realme Band 2 in Malaysia at a virtual launch event.
The new fitness band has a striking resemblance to the Honor Band 6 with a bigger display, battery, and more.
Realme Band 2 looks less like a fitness band and more like a smartwatch. It is a 1.4-inch color touchscreen with 500 nits peak brightness and 320 x 167 pixels resolution. The fitness tracker comes with 50 personalized dial faces and you also have the option to create a custom one by uploading a picture from your connected smartphone.
All the original health and fitness trackers are there in addition to stress measurement, women’s health tracking, and a SpO2 sensor to monitor blood oxygen levels.
Realme has also added Smart AIoT Control, a feature from its main lineup of smartwatches. This lets you control Realme’s AIoT products directly from the watch once it’s paired with the products. The band’s other features include music control, camera control, alarms, 50-meter water resistance, weathers forecasts, and more.
The Realme Band 2 is priced at RM169 ($40/€35) and will go on sale in Malaysia through Lazada starting September 20 with a special launch day price of RM139 ($35/€30). There’s no word on its availability in other markets, though.
